Beachplace is one of the most popular vacation rental communities on Longboat Key. It is located under 2 miles from the southern tip of Longboat Key. Beachplace has permanent residents as well as monthly renters which makes it an ideal community to visit. 30+ day rentals are required. It is a social environment at the pool complex as well as the beach. Chairs and umbrellas are placed on the beach each day which makes relaxing very simple. You can walk miles along the amazingly soft sandy beach and often see wildlife such as dolphin swim by. The sunsets are amazing.
On or near Longboat Key you may enjoy St Armands Circle, Downtown Sarasota, Sarasota Theater and Arts Districts, Bayfront Park, Ken Thompson Park Preserve, Overlook Park as well as miles of Beach walks and Bike paths. Fly into Sarasota Airport, which is only 15 minutes away.

We have just completed a one month tenancy at Beachplace, building 2, unit 402 on Longboat Key with Rick Benninghove as the agent for the owner. We found him at all times to be attentive to our every need and extremely professional in the management of his business. We would definitely rate him as a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest.

"Another Month in Paradise !!!"
May 2026 will be our third consecutive vacation in Beachplace 8105, the first being May 2024. We were delighted with the unit on all occasions, and this has not changed after another month there. The unit is is a stunning position being beachfront which is easily accessed using the single flight of steps directly from the unit terrace. The complete renovations Beachplace 8105 had in 2017 have been completed to a very high standard and obviously all renters use it with care, respect to the furniture as everything is still immaculate. I must congratulate Rick from FGCVR as he must somehow control and vet the applications of renters to continue to keep the unit in such immaculate order. Our Daughter and Granddaughter joined us for the last week of our vacation in May 2025 and we missed having them with us again this year, but GCSE’s must prevail! After agreeing an arrival time, we were met by Rick who ensured that we were very happy with the condominium and level of cleaning which was superb. Once again, we give Beachplace 8105 AND the hospitality by Rick and Katie a 5 Star rating, and so much did we enjoy our vacation that a reservation for May 2027 will hopefully be booked very soon. "We love it every time"
This condo is so clean and bright. So convenient to the Beach and Beachplace has every amenity you could imagine. We played pickleball and used the pool and beach almost every day. Easy access to St Armand's and downtown as well. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time in LBK and the Beachplace facility was as good as usual. We love the place for its friendlyness. The service provided by our provider was simply outstanding. "Beauty and Relaxation. And Sunsets!"
We had the privilege of staying in an ocean-front unit at Beachplace last January for the entire month. This was our first month away for the winter and it couldn't have been more relaxing and special. The entire complex is beautifully maintained and cared for. It was wonderful to have the beach and all the chairs set out each day, but also nice to have access to the pool and hot tub. Our specific unit was very super nice, super clean, and very convenient. And the view! We made a point every day to be front and center on our balcony to watch the beautiful sun drop into the ocean. Spectacular colors and shows--each a little bit different from the other. Our time was spent exploring the area but also just leisurely walking along the beach. Heaven. So much so that we booked January for 2023!

"What a view!"
Extremely happy with our stay at BeachPlace. The condo was very clean and all utilities needed for a comfortable stay were there. Being an older couple, we found access to the beach and to the pool within a easy walk. Being beachfont, the views are amazing especially for sunset. BUT, what made this stay at BeachPlace most comfortable and pleasant was the earnest desire and immediate on going attention Rick provided. Rick was accommodating and resourceful throughout our stay. It was obvious he cared to make our stay relaxing and not eventful. Thank You Rick. Hope to revisit next April.

The property was as advertised! Beautiful water views and sounds of the waves could be heard from both balconies. Beds were very comfortable and we were pleased with all the space and storage in the bedrooms and closets. Well equipped kitchen. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the living room. A quiet property and unit. We will be back next year!

"Penthouse Condo"
Our agent Rick was very helpful throughout the month. Our month at our condo was very enjoyable. The location of the condo with the views of the beach and the sunsets were exceptional. The condo had everything that we wanted and We really enjoyed the pool, especially the pool sea water. The office the office staff were very helpful on keeping us up-to-date with the events that we’re going on at Beach Place. overall, we really enjoyed it. We look forward to coming back later in the year..
